Notes

  • Howsham Mill is accessible only on the ground floor for wheelchair users, there are glass floors over the top of machinery to get a full view of the mechanics of the waterwheel. The Mill is fully accessible from the car-park with a 1/4 mile path towards the island. If there has been substantial rainfall the paths may become waterlogged and so extra care must be taken. Often the first bridge that is crossed can be flooded but there is a path that runs around the field to the right which you can use to get back on the path.
